With the joined forces of Syndicate Board & Apparel and, Walker Skatepark was jumpin with excitement of so many people getting together for the one common love of skateboarding.

Syndicate had shop decks for sale for anyone who happened to snap their stuff before the comp. And If you were a broke lil skate rat, The tent had the Skate Recyclery going with tons of skateable boards for whatever you got in your pocket. JTH Audio provided the sound for Well, Well, Well... and Fauxnz to supply some head-bangin jams for the soundtrack of the day.

Over 150 people showed up and for Walker park, it feels packed. We started the day off with the Beginner/Intermediate Comp. Cameron Ripple took 1st Place with Nick Carpenter taking 2nd. In the Advanced, Local park hero, Brock Nroll got 2nd place and Tyler Freeman from Fort Smith snatched 1st, winning a signed board from Street League KS and a brand new pair of trucks.

All together, we had a fun-filled day of skating, music and shenanigans. Nothing beats hanging with all youre friends doing what you love most. See you next National Go Skateboarding Day, June 21, 2012 for an even bigger event with
